The books are all hand bound books I have made. They have covers that are paste paper that I have painted. I love having these books as sketchbooks to use myself, to give as gifts to others and to even sell on occasion.
The collage piece with the butterfly and hand is the idea of the travels that we make and the beauty that we find along the way.
The drawing in black and white of the spiral is a piece of work that was done as a meditation. My mind settles best when my hands are busy and the repetitive pattern gives me time for my mind to rest while being busy.
